SpeedFloor modular boards
The answer to this question is the sum of the answers to several other questions, e.g.:
– Dimensions and shape of the room
– Its size
– Type and condition of the substrate
– Nature of loads and their size
– Usage
– Preferred color scheme
– Mounting method
– Self-assembly or by professionals
– Number and type of Add-on elements
If you give us answers to these questions, we will tell you what the cost of the whole or 1 m2 will be.
The base should be stable, load-bearing and as even as possible. The better the condition of the ground, the better the visual effect after installing the floor.
More convenient use, longer operation and easier cleaning.
The main difference is the structure of the tile and the resulting compressive strength. Standard tile in all thickness in its cross-section is homogeneous.
On the other hand , the Light tile from the bottom looks like a chocolate mold – it has in its lower part the so-called. “air pockets”. Light tile is also not more resilient, which is why it is often used in playrooms, fitness or gyms.
This difference in construction means that the compressive strength of the Standard tile is 500kg / cm2 , and the Light tiles 200kg / cm2.
For the care of Speedfloor PVC floors, you only need: a flat cotton mop, warm water and generally available detergents for washing synthetic floors. A broom with soft bristles is also useful.
The use of professional care products further improves the effect of care:
- reduces the adhesion of dirt to the floor,
- makes it easier to clean it again,
- protects the surface against excessive wear.
The versatility of the systems and the construction of their elements mean that almost everyone is able to lay such a floor on their own. Of course, assuming that the ground condition does not require special actions and we have basic tools and a bit of manual skills. The installation instructions available for download on our website can be helpful.
Generally, floors or wall cladding are supplied in original modular elements. However, if we get the dimensions of the necessary surfaces with an accuracy of 1 cm, then for an additional fee, we can prepare the whole for self-assembly, i.e.:
- cut the elements to individual dimensions,
- number them and mark the assembly order on the instructions.
For outdoor use, PP40M, PP 25/50 B and SBR/EPDM are recommended in the first place. The decision to choose a particular type depends mainly on the planned area of application.
The table of applications of SpeedFloor systems, which can be found in the APPLICATIONS tab, can be helpful in making the right decision.
The best option is to use a special guillotine for this purpose.
At home, you can use: a saw blade jigsaw or an angle grinder – preferably with a disc for cutting plastics and aluminum. If you do not have one, you can also use a disc for metal or for cutting concrete – it is best to cut at slow speed. As a last resort, a sharp and durable knife can be useful.
If you do not care about a specific color, we suggest choosing the SpeedFloor Eco 7 mm version. This solution combines the strength of Standard tiles with the economy of Light tiles. Using recycled material tiles for the production of this version undoubtedly reduces costs.
Eco Grey version – this is a good choice:
- the floor is not dark and you can not see wood dust on it,
- compressive strength up to 500kg/cm2 allows the material to be transported using heavy forklifts,
- heavy woodworking machines can be placed on such a floor.
In the vast majority of cases, the SpeedFloor PVC floor is laid “dry” – without gluing.
Its sticking is recommended:
- in areas of strong sunlight (e.g. at glass facades),
- on ramps and driveways,
- at places where vehicles are manoeuvred in small spaces,
- on transport roads, where heavy trolleys work on plastic wheels,
- in wet rooms, in spaces exposed to intense splashing of water, e.g. car washes, kitchens, etc.
If you want to use a drainage system under the surface of the floor – we offer the Speedfloor PP25/50 B or PP40 version.
However, if we want to create a tight floor surface or wall cladding – we recommend using SpeedFloor PVC in a glued version.
Yes.
If the underfloor heating is permanent (the floor is a fixed hob), then both the SpeedFloor PVC and SpeedFloor PP or SpeedFloor SBR/EPDM versions will work well as a floor surface.
If underfloor heating is used sporadically and for a short time, the most effective version will be the floor in the SpeedFloor PP25/50B and PP40M or SpeedFloor PVC versions, but up to a thickness of 4 mm.
This is a version of the mobile antistatic floor; combining the modular nature of the SpeedFloor PVC system, vinyl strength and electro-conductivity of graphite fibers. Thanks to this combination, you can quickly make an anti-electrostatic floor that is not related to the substrate.
It’s true. The most commonly used are PVC Standard and ECO versions and SBR versions. The former both for floors and wall cladding. The latter primarily as a floor surface. Some do not let liquids through, are thin and handy, as well as very durable. The second permeable, soft, larger format and much heavier. Both versions are non-absorbent and dust-free.
Whether they will be used in animal stalls, corridors, car wash, warehouse or saddle room depends on the nature of the stable, its construction, existing substrates and operating conditions.
If they are plates with a wym. 50×50 cm it has a thickness of 30 to 90 mm. If they have a mat format of 100×100 cm, their thickness is: 15, 25 or 30 mm.
Installation does not require gluing to the substrate.
In order to avoid keying, you can stabilize their connections with plastic dowels, inserted transversely into the factory-prepared holes.
PVC tiles in speedFloor Invisible version with Snake Skin surface. They have invisible connections between themselves, hidden in the lower part of the plate.
Before installation, they were carefully checked for ricocheting and damage – the tests were positive.
